“oh and Nigal PC, that is too funny. I cant believe this site could even let those words into the same sentence.”

It wasn't without it's ill effects birch. My monitor burst into flames. LOL!

crash bang - birch is right, I was wrong. I don't seek forgiveness from you, just know that I promise to try to restrain myself in the future. Being human, I have difficulty being perfect, or even close to it. I'm sure you're a great guy, but whether or not you are, that's no excuse for my actions. I lost my patience, and I'm truly sorry.

Nigal - I honestly don't know why you've decided to attack me personally. I don't recall ever attacking you except in retaliation (which is inexcuseable), and I find that unusual considering your good standing here on this board. Maybe we misunderstood each other somewhere. I know I'm rough, but I've seemed to got your attention particularly. I don't know. But, I promise I will try to better understand why I'm annoying you (for lack of a better word) in the future and will do my best to stop. I just hope it's enough. I've always thought you were a good/nice guy and never understood why you seem to personally dislike me so. I hope you can forgive whatever it is I said/did and maybe someday we can be friends. I've always respected your ability to socialize on here (I lurked on here long before ever posting), and maybe I can learn a lot from you if I'd type less and read more. Whatever it was, let's just drop it. If I do it again, bring it up, otherwise my natural tendency to defend myself will rear it's ugly head and I don't need that right now, and neither do you. Thanks.

No Crash, we caught each other on the wrong day and we’re both strong personalities and neither one wanted to back down. We discussed it and we both owned and recognized our share of the blame for a stupid exchange.

Sarge, there’s nothing to apologize for. This really is no big deal. We are just different. I appreciate the apology but it is a bit left handed (shut it crash! lol) because I have been completely upfront and honest about why I was poking‘ at ya. The simple fact that you don’t see why I would ever have a problem with you shows you don’t even hear a word others say. I’m a really forgiving person but there’s nothing to forgive dude. Like I said, be your self, just not around me.

Don't take Nigals barbs too personally Sarge, he gets very very cutting sometimes. I think he often tries to tell the truth as he sees it... but wraps it in some pretty intense invective. I think he'd much rather come off as a nasty p--ck than an insincere suck up.

There are lots of elbows thrown here and its hard to find a way to stand up for yourself and what you believe without it getting out of hand.

I do know that you haven't gone off on anyone without taking some elbows from them... but unless someone is as consistently mean spirited as Bacpac, no one else will really know where the stuff started and you'll look just as out of control as the person who set you off. With Bacpac, they pretty much assume he started it (even when he gets mugged trying to have a normal conversation).

Anyway, we're all bozos on this bus - don't take any of us, or yourself too seriously.
I guess there is an exception to that rule. Every once in a while something happens and people are really here for each other - then its back to the free for all.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I will most likely continue to post on here. I can't very well post "not around you", so if you would just ignore my posts, that's all I know to do to honor your wishes since I can't do anything on this end for you not to read my posts, other than not to post. I like trailtalk and will stick around. Please put me on ignore. Thanks.

That's it. First time I hike with Crash I'm gonna teabag my balls in his dinner pot when he turns away. "Hey Crash, don't sweat it. They are G-d's creation!". LOL!

“Nigal, wouldn't that be like putting your balls in a golf ball washer...ouch”

Not really Ewker. While a gold ball washer is very stimulating it is more of a tactile thrill. Someone’s dinner pot is more of a heat thing as well as the thrill of it being someone ELSES cook pot.

I find nothing offensive about the old MarkO picture, and it is Phil can stop anything he doesn't want posted from getting posted on his site. Still, Nigal's point that just because God created it - or just because its natural doesn't mean it belongs everywhere.

It reminds me of an argument I had about some rap lyrics with my former brother in law (I complained about the mysogyny and casual attitude toward violence), he said "it's valuable because they are expressing someething inside of them that is important and real that people don't want to see." I told him that I could use the same justification if I dropped my pants (we were in New York City) and took a dump on the side walk.

Ped, they probably have a court in New York to deal exclusively with that.

Hmmm, the mere thought of that reminds me of my night at the car pound, courtesy of the trees.

I think in hindsight I should have not said I'd do that to Crash's dinner pot. First off, he's never going to hike with me now. Second even if he does leave his dinner pot unattended I have lost the whole element of surprise.

Damn, I hate it when a great plan falls apart!

LOLOLOLOLOL
We have had in New York as United States senators, Robert F. Kennedy, Jacob Javits and Daniel Moynihan.

We now have Hillary Clinton blowing on her fingers as she goes about cracking the combination to another safe. If the one hand glistens, it is from the wedding ring that she has used to hypnotize the public so far. Beautiful. - Jimmy Breslin

The next think to watch for is how many congressmen were treated to free meals at Abramoff's trendy restaurant, Signatures.

You make me wonder sometimes Stovie.

Breslin's column is taking Hillary to task for accommodating Bush's quagmire.

Do you think she should speak out strongly and hold Bush’s feet to the fire for a disaster of his making or did you just comprehend that the column was vaguely critical of Senator Clinton?
