LOL I am not sure why I did that but I wish someone would have gotten a picture of his face. I am pretty sure that he was not feeling any pain at that point.

LOL! I added it to my fur collection, haha! Actually I don't know where it is now...blowing in the wind!

Stovie you're right, I can't imagine what these guys would do to one who pased out...I think some poor soul left his belly exposed while sleeping...hehe...

Anyway, it'll be less of a party at Chimney Pond...there's a quiet time, plus too much fun hiking to miss for a hangover. Not that that ever stops anyone... :)

Last to sleep, first one awake.
Bring wine, don't drink.

Don't worry, pepsi. We were a pretty harmless bunch.

Nobody mentioned the groaning we heard outside the bunkhouse on out first night. LtHiker now thinks it's a good idea to wear crampons to the outhouse at BSP.

Dang, sounds like a fun trip. I can't relate to needing snowshoes or crampons this time of year in Illinois (if ever here).

Skiracer - very cool tribute idea for Pedxing. Well done.

Well, it is a safe bet that I'll probably be the first awake, that makes me feel safe.... But I'll also probably be the first asleep, I don't feel so safe......

T Mac, I can't take credit for the pictures of Pedxing. Pennsy did that and had the pictures for all of us to carry. Someone else also thought of the idea to write something on the back of the picture and stash it at the bunkhouse. All I did was think of the words to write. It was a very cool idea. I hope he smiles when he learns about it.

twigeater, you could have it DNA-tested.....D(o) N(ot) A(sk)??

Lt busted his ass on the way to the scheissehaus?
MarkO
3:08:05 PM
3/31/04

I'm positive it was one of the almighty ones hairs, since they all seem to have escaped...
and why did I keep them anyway, LOL...
twigeater
3:11:49 PM
3/31/04

Yup, MarkO. Slipped on some ice, fell backward, hit his back and the back of his head. It knocked the wind out of him and screwed up his back some.

I guess its a good thing the crap hole is too small or Lt might have really been in deep $h!t.
MarkO

3/31/04

He slipped right outside the bunkhouse...we were inside and heard something, went outside and there he was. We got Nurse Betty and I was ready to go for the ranger (he wasn't getting up and the rangers are only there for short periods, if at all) But he got up and said he was ok to go on, and he did!

Definately a trooper, sore but kept it on.....

Hey you can't get all the way there, just to leave early.

twigeater
3:57:34 PM
3/31/04

Lol plenty to see Stove!! Hhaha..

Yeah that fall really took it out of me. I am really glad we were towing sleds and not carrying a backpack.
It really scared me when i hit the ice, it knocked the wind out of me and I heard a load crack sound. I really thought that I had broken my back. I think that my feet came up over my head when I fell.
LtHiker

I'm still trying to figure out why Lt yanked out a handfull of my chest hair. How the heck did we get on that subject to begin with? And yes, I didn't feel a dang thing. No more sambucca for me! I may have lost some hair, but at least I didn't lose my cookies like that lightweight Artex. heh heh

I agree about Lt being a trooper. He took a hell of a shot on that ice and hardly complained the rest of the trip. But then again, he didn't have time to complain because he spent all his time farting.

Stop nagging me about the pics. Sheesh, some people actually do work for a living. HOPEFULLY, they will be ready later on tonight. No surpise Twigeater pic though. Dang it.

Her threats against Pennsy must have worked. He caved.

That's OK Pennsy ol' pal, just email the 'good' ones to me. I promiss not to tell a soul! ;-)
