Cheap kayak?
Traitor!

What do you call cheap? I got my Perception Catalina with rudder for around $800.

I dont plan on doing anything in the olympics! I just want a kayak i can take down rivers to scout otherwise unreachable campsites and waterfalls in a local national forest...it doesnt have any true trails and there's a TON of small caves and waterfalls no one knows about...me and my buddies have a 15 foot aluminum flat bottom boat...but that sucker doesnt handle rapids too well and is a pain to load or transport. anyways... CHEAP KAYAK

MINE'S BLUE!
i have a "tuxedo" made by liquid logic and it's KILLER! 9 ', touring yak but small enough to have some fun in the rapids. check it out...right at 4oo smackers.

Don't apologize for lovin' the yak dude! I'd take a week on the water over a week on the trail any day!

I have an Old Town Loon 13'8". It's not the most spry thing on the water but it handles well and has enough room for a week+ of gear. Right at $400.

Why apologize?

But I'm getting off topic and I don't want to wreck the thread.

It wasn't an apologetic sorry, it was more of a "how sad for you" sorry.

Back to Kayaks...yeah, don't have one, can't help ya there.

there are some great folks over there. I was actually chatting (I HATE CHATTING!) with DDX and tarbubble the other night. Great fun!

Yeah, there are a few people over there I like such as tarbubble, dicentra, snackcake, wheelz, etc. But most of the others I can't stand. I used to like that site best now I can barely stand it. Bitter I guess. Oh well, enjoy your stay!

You know, a thread like this one should really be in the "Fuego" category.
