You have a wife?

I just thought you had 5 girls?

I did get the elevation gain wrong. It's about 4600' for the loop without Grey or Redfield.

If we are staying at Lake Colden, can I hang a pork chop around Pennsy's neck while he is asleep? Think of the bear photos we could take.

LMAO!! Now how did this thread turn into the "Let's pick on Pennsy" thread? Actually, if Artex wants to snag some bear action photos, I have an idea.

I'll borrow my nephew's super soaker water gun, fill it with honey and douse Artex. We'll get some rope, biners and suspend him from steel cables that they have at Lake Colden. We'll let him hang just above a bear's reach and he can snag those pics he wants. Howz that?

Either that or just soak Zac's tent with the honey after he goes to sleep.

Oh, and of course the obligitary (spel?):

HIKE PAIN!!!!

Artex will go to the beach tomorrow and let his eyes roam unhindered over miles of tanned and barely bikini clad female flesh.

How was that?

Apparently Pennski is going to the mountains this weekend. I believe I'll be fishing in the mountains.

Lets see camping at Lake Colden in September. That gives me about 5 months to get a bear canister.

Wooohoooooooooo!

(And on the topic of buttkicker, there's some "Devil's Path" or something in the Catskills and some guys here want to do the whole 27 miles with 18,000 feet of elevation gain in one day...I am toying with the idea...but I have also been known to have suicidal thoughts, so that don't mean nothin.)

:)

Miss seeing all you guys. Gotta get out more...

Hey Artex
If you want I can change the trip organizer to you. I just wanted to put the trip up before this thread disappeared into the TT abyss.

This thread would never disapear. My annual Buttkicker's are famous. Yes, if there's a way to switch control over to me, please do so. If not, delete it, and I'll make an entry.

If a Buttkicker is held without me involved, I'll be forced to put a Curse of the Artex on it.

Ooooh, Zac is stepping on Artex's toes. Stepping on his toes is ok, but never ever pull his finger if he asks you.

Hey Artex, what do you say we sew mister Pete's lips shut?

and keep my dang chest hair out of this thread. Sheesh!!

Back on topic.... when the "real" trip thread is posted on the trips page, perhaps a new thread should be started that will link both pages?

Thanks lumberzac! Look forward to finally meeting you.

Pennsy good idea. And perhaps we can blindfold him with one of his colorful shirts before we dump him in Lake Colden.

It's about hiking routes so tough it'll make you cry for your mama. Lot's of miles, lots of peak bagging, lots of elevation gain... and that's just in the first two hours.

The Adirondacks are perfect for this: Switchbacks are non-existant and the trails only go in one direction.... up. Also, rocks and tree roots blanket the grouds like acne.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.
