Homemade .22LR Suppressors

“I know there's plans out there to build suppressors, but has anyone had any experience making a pvc-pipe suppressor actually work and last for at least 5 - 10 bricks?”

“.22LR breaks the sound barrier and so suppression is debatable. Proffessional assissins would use .22S on a High Standard .22 auto and put it up against the ear (rarely their own).”

By the way, in a lot of states it is legal to purchase and/or make suppressors if you acquire the proper license and pay a $200 tax. Unfortch, Missouri is not one of those states. *sigh* Ah well, I don't have a 10/22 anymore anyway.”
