I'm looking for a cook set, i want something alumin or tintanium, i want a 2 liter pot with a frying pan lid, will i be able to buy just this or will i have to buy more and just leave it at home? And then i want a good camp mug. Also i would like to try to keep it under $55 dollars. Any suggestions what all do you use.

The Evernew 0.9 or 1.3 L Ti pots are very good cookpots.

that's true - though they don't have frypans

One Pot
Usually cook sets aren't needed.
Most try to only use and carry one pot. I haven't needed a fry pan in years.

I carry a little stainless 3 cup grease pot from Wal Mart - it's got a tight fitting lid and handle that won't heat up. Cost like 5 bucks or so, can't remember. My little cat can stove fits inside it along with the windscreen, salt/pepper and a little baby thing of hand cleaner.

Kabin Kamper & I use the 1.3 evernew and it cooks loads more than we need. Frying pan would be nice though.

The AntiGravityGear 3 Cup Pot is my favorite for very light and inexpensive.

The MSR Titan Kettle Vs the Evernew 0.9 L Ti Pot: Both light strong pots. The Evernew boils way faster with alcohol stoves due to the larger bottom surface area.
I gave my Titan Kettle away.

I went the MSR route.. stainless.. I actually have more than I need, but I rarely carry it all.. two pots, and the cup you can use also.. plus yes -- i do have a fry pan.. but hey.. I would not be TownDawg if I didn't carry too much food.. and too much 'kitchen' stuff.

:)

I do echo SS comment tho.. A cookset is usually overkill.
