" ” 5:08:34 AM 4/08/04 oh yeah...Key Code WSS6 5:10:29 AM 4/08/04 Why You? “Thanks G! So how much monwey does a person have to spend with STP before they start sending you secret discount codes? Just wondering because I'll bet I've dropped over 1K to them throughout the years.” 8:21:25 AM 4/08/04 Buddur “You have to sign up for their email specials. Go to their site and plug ya email in. Soon you will getting email from them a couple of times a week.” 8:24:25 AM 4/08/04 “What can I say, I am special. ;p well, that and, as stovestomper said, I am signed up for their e-mail flyers I love that place!! >:D” 8:55:10 AM 4/08/04 StoveStomper “Yeah, sometimes the frequency of the e-mails gets to be a bit much. But I still check 'em out.” 10:45:35 AM 4/08/04 New Gear...................................Woo Hoo “Thanks G, I just saved myself shipping on... - Mountain Hardware Ascent Gloves, - Smartwool Merino Wool Black T-Shirt, and - Moonstone Cirrus Jacket. The ditz on the phone tricked me into getting the jacket I've been wanting (but don't need) since they first posted it even though I wasn't planning on getting it. I swear she said I got an extra 10% off everything I ordered, so I asked her if I'd also get an extra 10% on the jacket, and the ditz said yes. So after I get off the phone I added the total up, expecting to take 10% off that for my grand total, but the total of my order didn't show any 10% discount. So I called back and talked to another lady, who looked at my order and said I never got one, and it turns out they aren't even giving discounts like that away anyway. So apparently I was swindled into getting something I wanted, but was not going to get...but I got it.” 4:11:55 PM 4/10/04 “we hear what we want to hear sometimes, eh? heheheh It happens to the best of us, Buddur. ;o)” 9:32:52 AM 4/11/04 “If your order was over $100 and you used coupon code LSC04, you should have gotten 10% off: http://www.couponmountain.com/Sierra_Trading_Post/Sierra_Trading_Post_coupon.html” 9:37:34 AM 4/11/04 My Bad! “Violin, I used AmyG's free shipping code. I was never aware there was another one to give. 8(” 9:45:11 AM 4/11/04 “Call them back!” 9:47:23 AM 4/11/04 “oooh, Violin is holding out! Yes, definitely call them back. I bet they will give you the additional discount - that place is eager to please! >:D” 9:52:35 AM 4/11/04 By The Time I Get Ahold Of Then It'll Have Shipped “OK, I called back. They're NOT open on Sundays.” 9:56:13 AM 4/11/04 “bet she sounded cute and giggled at you didn't she Buddur.” 10:06:08 AM 4/11/04 I Swear She Said The 10% Off Crap “Yeah...she said she liked my voice and also asked me what I was wearing.” 10:13:28 AM 4/11/04 “Another STP secret: I had ordered something a month ago. My card did not clear (just got my checking statement and NOW I know why, put an airline ticket on there as well as a BIG Cabela's purchase... the card was tapped for awhile) So I just let it be. Never called them back to either cancel or to pay by check or whatever. A couple weeks later I get a later from STP. A note in it says the item I ordered "was not available" (hmmm, I don't think that was the problem... lol)... and they sent a $5 gift certificate with no expiration date. STP rules!” 10:17:10 AM 4/11/04
