The ditz on the phone tricked me into getting the jacket I've been wanting (but don't need) since they first posted it even though I wasn't planning on getting it. I swear she said I got an extra 10% off everything I ordered, so I asked her if I'd also get an extra 10% on the jacket, and the ditz said yes. So after I get off the phone I added the total up, expecting to take 10% off that for my grand total, but the total of my order didn't show any 10% discount. So I called back and talked to another lady, who looked at my order and said I never got one, and it turns out they aren't even giving discounts like that away anyway. “Another STP secret: I had ordered something a month ago. My card did not clear (just got my checking statement and NOW I know why, put an airline ticket on there as well as a BIG Cabela's purchase... the card was tapped for awhile)

So I just let it be. Never called them back to either cancel or to pay by check or whatever.

A couple weeks later I get a later from STP. A note in it says the item I ordered "was not available" (hmmm, I don't think that was the problem... lol)... and they sent a $5 gift certificate with no expiration date.
