Raichle Storm Light HikersView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 1 of 1 messages posted.
“Well its going on a month since I ordered them. They run true to size luckily since they were a mail order deal. Almost as comfortable as my old Danner Radical 45 GTX's already. No problems so far. Have good ankle support/stability for those that need that. These are not really a "heavy" backpacking or "mountain"boot but a nice light hiker that is very light and offers good lateral support and good cushion. Its a board lasted sole so thats great for the stability aspect. Decent but not a overly high arch in them. Have been wearing them every day for the last month or there abouts and very comfortable. They looked narrow coming out of the box but are NOT actually narrow, actually have a nice toe box with some room. Not sloppy but enough room to be nice fit. Did have a thread come lose but so far after clipping it no ill effects but I will see if anything else happens. I was very happy with the boots at $40 but I really don't know if I would have bought them at the full retail of $129 I just really think there are better deals out there at that price point. At that price point id probably have gone with the Dunham Cloud 9's, Merrills, or another set of Danners. But at the closeout price they were hard to turn down!” 9:47:10 AM 4/12/04
