Oh well, just wanted to share that target has freeze dried fruit. Pretty good too. Rasberries, bananas and strawberries.
Each package costs $1.99. That's a great price compared to what I normally pay for freeze drieds fruit at the fresh market ($5 or more)

Dry fruit is dry fruit. About the only reason I've seen for drying your own is if you don't like the stuff they spray on commericial dry fruit. I think I can live with it.”

anyway, I checked the ingredients, and really nothing in there but fruit, no other conservatives. (that sounds political, did I spell it correctly?) Anyway, you know what I mean.

I get the dried fruit (bananas mostly) and the packets of raisins nuts and stuff in the same aisle and add to my trail oatmeal - yum! The bananas rehydrate great.

Heck, Snake Eyes. I've been doing that for years. I dehydrate, put in ziplocks. Weight is little.
I'll send ya a case of 12 Quarts for $50.
Just add water to reconstitute.”
