There isn't a mnemonic device to help you spell 'mnemonic'?

Oh, that 'dog of honor'. The neurons that might've made that connection haven't been quite the same since '74...

It sounds like those sneaky bastages moved you to where you'd have to ambulate more to get to the Internet connection, <GRIN>

Pedxing goes home today!
Woohooo! Pedxing gets to go home today! Just 10 days shy of 3 months in the hospital and rehab center, Pedxing is finally able to go home.

Way to go, David. Keep up the good work and the healing process.

What a powerful journey.

Ped is a very strong person. I don't know if I have would have the strength to overcome something like this. I don't know if I would have enough down deep to take care of bidness. I can only hope that life does not bring a challenge to me like it did to Ped.

Thanks for the thoughts. I really appreciated the visit. I spent my first night with my new wife last night after getting home from the rehab hospital. I already started physical therapy at a hospital just minutes from the place where we are renting. I also did a phone interview for Social Security Disability - my doctor suggested I go on the dole to tide me over during my recovery. It wouldn't start paying for a couple months though.

Too many people lack disability insurance. Scares the bejeezus out of me.

You let us know if you're okay or not, alright?

And by the way, you've given me a new mantra:

When about to run into a burning building, first turn the garden hose on yourself.

I missed something. I just returned to tt after a hiatus. I see that Pedxing is getting married. Now I notice this thread. I read the first post to see what happend to Pedxing, but it doesn't really say.

So, what happened to him?

He was badly burned in a fire, and is just now getting out of the hospital.

Here's the original thread

Thanks bitpusher & Phaedrus. I can't believe it. The hair on my arms is standing on end. Wow! I noted the date of the article, and I can't believe he's still in the hospital. I know the article did say he was in critical condition.

pedxing, I'm so sorry to hear about the fire. Thank God you survived, and that your child is okay. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thank God you have Ellen with you, especially at a time like this. Take care ped.

Thanks treebait :{}

Ped, I went back through the threads to read about your condition, and progress, and I read the article about what happened.

I read you were going back to save your dog. You truly are a Superman. What's life without our furry friends. It must be a comfort that he's there for you now with everyone else.

Ya know
I have no control over this double posting that I seem to be doing often. I hit "submit message" once, and that's it.

If anyone has any idea how I can stop this from happening, please let me know.
