“I'll be in Bend for a week the last week of April fishing and the guy I'm going with scheduled a golf tee time on a day the forecast says will be sunny and 72. I desperately need to find a way out of wasting a day in the mountains hitting a golf ball. Can you get to the Sisters trailheads this time of year. I know access is via the cascade highway which is still closed due to snow. Any other access points or ideas on hiking in the areas? A walkup peak is preferred but anything but golf is ideal. I'm bringing my snow shoes and crampons so snow not as big an issue as access.”
