I don't think we should crazy like lefties over something like this, It's ultimately his responsibility but... I'm sure he has a production company that is run day to day by someone else and they made the decision to farm this out.

Michael Moore is a non-thinking leftie blinded by his own dogma.

That was so a month ago. LOL
Tiltypoo - I have no problem with pol threads in their own category. I don't believe you will have found me complaining about the existance of pol threads in the correct category after matt made the category this thread is under. Things change. Of course I don't expect you to understand that. My main complaint was certain 'non-thinking TT lefties blinded by their own dogma' (thanks phaedrus ;-) ) calling anyone that had a viewpoint counter to them names, and rather than add any intelligent discusion, just start throwing turds.
Isn't it about time you called me 'dim', 'stupid', 'redneck', 'racist' or some other 'smart' comeback?

It must be so nice to live in such a Black and White world you can't see the hypocrisy of Moore.

I sent an email to him SS. I must say, when I send him an email, I doubt I'll have 2 computers get hacked and be audited in the same week, like when I send constructive emails to those republicans that I disagree with.

Hopefullt, Mike will realize his hipocrasy, and change it, unlike those who hack and audit.

his weight certainly must have something to do with the accuracy of his political views......right?

That's such a crock, stovypoop.

You said political threads were a bunch of crap, but it has become quite apparent that you only think they're crap when you disagree with the point of view being expressed.

As for being an idiot... Hell, I don't know. Are you? Do you still support Bush even after he invaded another country and got a bunch of people killed without any concrete proof that it was any sort of threat??

If you were a thinking person, I'd expect you to have some serious questions about that. Do you?

Drudge has been proven to have even less credibility than Limbaugh, and yet you still seem to believe what he put's on his website. Is that rational?

BTW, I just heard that Moore's publisher (Time-Warner) contracted for those sites, not him.

Frankin is an a$$. His radio show 'network' is down to one or two major markets. Even the students in the few 'liberal' college towns they broadcast in say his show isn't funny, just boring.
They have to pay radio stations to carry his show. The stations I worked in during college had to pay for programing. Must be real bad.

Liberal radio network down to 1 major city
New York only Top 10 market for struggling, new Air America

Al Franken of Air America

Despite a court order to return the all-liberal radio network to Chicago, it appears the Windy City won't have Air America by the end of this month, leaving New York City as the sole Top 10 market for the fledgling company.

The Chicago Tribune reports Air America will cease broadcasting over WNTD-AM in Chicago April 30, and will remain off the air for now in Los Angeles, where it was yanked from KBLA-AM last week by station owner Multicultural News Radio.

Los Angeles and Chicago are the nation's No. 2 and 3 media markets respectively, according to ratings service Arbitron.

Besides No. 1 market New York, Air America's next largest region is No. 16 Minneapolis, with other affiliates in Portland, Ore., Riverside, Calif., West Palm Beach, Fla., Key West, Fla., Chapel Hill, N.C.,and Plattsburgh/Burlington on the New York-Vermont border.

Programming also can be heard on XM Satellite Radio as well as the Internet, and the company says "coming soon" markets include No. 4 San Francisco.

Air America features liberal personalities including comic and author Al Franken and actress Janeane Garofalo, and was floated as an alternative to conservative radio talent such as Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage and Sean Hannity.

As WorldNetDaily reported last week, the network was silenced in both L.A. and Chicago during a payments dispute with Multicultural Radio, which alleged Air America had bounced checks, a charge strongly denied by the liberal network.

A Chicago source familiar with the situation told the Tribune "a Multicultural representative showed up at WNTD's offices, ... kicked out Air America's lone staffer overseeing the network's feed to the station from New York, switched over to a Spanish-language feed, and changed the locks on the doors."

Air America has since won a court order to return it to the air in Chicago, but yesterday said that it would stop broadcasting on WNTD at the end of this month as it reached a deal with Multicultural.

"We are pleased that we reached a negotiated settlement," said David Goodfriend, executive vice president of Air America, in a brief statement.

"We've been vindicated," Gene Heinemeyer, general manager of Multicultural's New York stations told the Tribune. "It was a dark day in radio for what they did."

Air America isn't giving up on Chicago, however, and is reportedly in preliminary talks with another station, WONX-AM.

"If their money is green and there's enough of it, OK," station owner Frank Kovas, a self-described political conservative, told the Tribune.

Industry analysts say Air America definitely has an uphill battle in reaching financial success in broadcasting.

"The liberal talkers are not only battling the conservatives for air time, they are up against the sports talkers, on-air counselors, medical advisers, computer talk geeks and so on," writes Jeffrey McCall, professor of communication arts and sciences at DePauw University in Indiana. "This is a tough party to crash."

Did you ever see the treatment Uncle Walt got from Jay Ward and the rest of the folks who did "Rocky & Bullwinkle" and the rest?

It was a scream... a take-off on the Sleeping Princess routine, only the Prince looked suspiciously like Walt Disney. He went through all the travails, finally reached the Princess.... but then decided that he'd rather turn the castle into a theme park and charge admission for people to gawk at Sleeping Beauty... rather than kiss her and wake her up, that is.... Ya mean this DDX?
"Iraq made commitments after the Gulf War to completely dismantle all weapons of mass destruction, and unfortunately, Iraq has not lived up to its agreement." -- Barbara Boxer, November 8, 2002

"There's no question that Saddam Hussein is a threat... Yes, he has chemical and biological weapons. He's had those for a long time. But the United States right now is on a very much different defensive posture than we were before September 11th of 2001... He is, as far as we know, actively pursuing nuclear capabilities, though he doesn't have nuclear warheads yet. If he were to acquire nuclear weapons, I think our friends in the region would face greatly increased risks as would we." -- Wesley Clark on September 26, 2002

"I am absolutely convinced that there are weapons...I saw evidence back in 1998 when we would see the inspectors being barred from gaining entry into a warehouse for three hours with trucks rolling up and then moving those trucks out." -- Clinton's Secretary of Defense William Cohen in April of 2003

"I share the administration's goals in dealing with Iraq and its weapons of mass destruction." -- Dick Gephardt in September of 2002

"Iraq does pose a serious threat to the stability of the Persian Gulf and we should organize an international coalition to eliminate his access to weapons of mass destruction. Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to completely deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." -- Al Gore, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." -- Ted Kennedy, September 27, 2002

"There is no doubt that Saddam Hussein's regime is a serious danger, that he is a tyrant, and that his pursuit of lethal weapons of mass destruction cannot be tolerated. He must be disarmed." -- Ted Kennedy, Sept 27, 2002

And my personal favorite is from the liberal’s candidate for War Criminal of 2004...

"I will be voting to give the president of the United States the authority to use force - if necessary - to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." -- John F. Kerry, Oct 2002

"The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but as I said, it is not new. It has been with us since the end of that war, and particularly in the last 4 years we know after Operation Desert Fox failed to force him to reaccept them, that he has continued to build those weapons. He has had a free hand for 4 years to reconstitute these weapons, allowing the world, during the interval, to lose the focus we had on weapons of mass destruction and the issue of proliferation." -- John Kerry, October 9, 2002

Disney (who owns ABC radio that carries 3 hours of Rush followed by 3 hours of Hannity) says they don't want to get involved in politics in an election year.

The 'tax breaks in Florida theory' has some merit as an explanation of why Disney prohibited Miramax from releasing Farenheit 911. A much more likely and straightforward explanation would seem to be that Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal who has a major stake in Euro Disney is being courted by Michael Eisner for more investment.

Now why would a Saudi Prince not want the film released? Hmmmm?
