Trip to Mark Twain Reservoir, near Hanni bal?

“Both are north of St. Louis. I've done part of the trail at Mark Twain. Nice, but could well run into horse traffic. Also, I'd need to check about campsites. They have what I think are a number of spread-out, single tent site camp areas. I would need to check that.

Cuivre River also has horse areas. I've never hiked there.

So far nothing has been happening with setting up a trip to the Shawnee area, so wondered if people might potentially be interested in this? Illinois... Missouri people??”
