A 25 degree mateable down bag.... a really wide mummy, I'm claustrophobic in bags.

A summer one-person tent.

A summer and winter two-person tent.

A new stove... not sure which yet, but one that works in real cold weather and is easy to use.

A Gregory pack.

stratdewd, maybe it's cuz you're wishing for a SKIRT! Maybe she wants to wear the only skirt in the family. hehehehe

For myself, I'm on the lookout for a pretty lightweight one or two-person tent with lotsa mesh and rainfly/vestibule, freestanding. (*see my thread on same)

I don't have a "real" stove, but so far only boil water with my cooking skills, so...

Tekdude, is that "thing" supposed to be WHERE you want to go, or some odd something-or-other that bounces up and down??? LOL!! I don't know WHAT that is....

Twinks, NJpacker made us all pepsi can stoves, so you can scratch that off ur list of gear!

Yes, I'd also like a kayak.

Need one of the newer squarish Platypus bladders, and a digital camera. I have upgraded most of the rest of my gear over the last year so I am good. For now. Until I get that itch and I start all over again...

Tekdude, looks like a 3-panel panoramic LCD monitor, to be used under the multiple monitor option supported in Win2K and WinXP, am I right?

techntrek-

Yes, it's a 3-panel LCD monitor.

It's a marvel to be sure. Full emersion. That plus music way too loud and it's oblivion. Just something more to dull the pain of the monotony and mundane.

Ack, it has been two weekends without getting some altitude.

And imagine getting your photos together for that format.

Prediction... that's where computing is going. This angular rectangular monitor business is getting ooooold.

Man, I'm in dire need of upgrading/replacing my gear. Within a year's time, I plan on buying a new tent (or perhaps just a tarp), new boots (Montrails or Vasques), new sleeping pad (Thermarest) and a new extended trip pack (Osprey). Not as essential, but I'd also like to pick up a stove I can simmer with (Dragonfly, probably).

So much gear, so little time.

I wonder if it swivels.

Phreaky.

I'm not sure I understand Tekdude's post, but need new leather boots. My old Raichle's were fine, but now they're lost in suspended time in a previous relationship. Bummer!

I want to get some Minus Forty overboots for a projet that I have been planning/dreaming about for a few years now. Interestingly, a buddy and fellow local walked into the pub Sunday, saw me and said he'd be right back. Five minutes later he handed me a pair of light weight, ten point Charlet Moser crampons. They are 'Rapide fixe', but should work fine with my plastics. I'll use the Camp K2's with the overboots.

STOVE
Twinks A Goof...somtimes you are! You sure you're not a blond??!! LOL
Remember, I told you at Harriman, I had a Pepsi can stove for you. Shoot me an e-mail with your address. I only need to get some foil bubble wrap to make you a pot cozy and you'll be ready for dinner!! I'll be waitin' to hear from you.
