If anyone is in need, I am looking to sell my Thermo-Rest.
Full disclosure: I have used it 2 times, both car-camping situations. I am selling it because I just downright dislike it. Can't get a good night's sleep on it. I far and away prefer my Ridge-Rest. If you have any questions, just post. I will consider any reasonable offers.

If it is the Thermarest LE 3/4, I'll make you an offer.

I will have to look at the tag. Can't remember the specs at the moment 'cause my brain isn't working today.

To be completely politically correct, it's "Therm-a-Rest®", not Thermo-Rest. I'm sure the management and staff of Cascade Designs® would like to thank me profusely at this time. Your welcome.

rickklug,

So, what happened to the Therm-a-rest LE 3/4 in the product line?

Was it replaced by the Expedition Short?

I have an LE long and love it, but want a lighter version...hence the desire for a 3/4.

and really appreciate it. I also have the chair kit on it and REALLY appreciate that too!.

Wow, there really is Cascade Designs® management here, cool! I love all Cascade Designs® products, and you can quote me on that.

"I think Cascade Designs® is a fantastic company with awesome products and has really really really really ridiculously good looking management and staff." - Buck (circa 2004)

NoooOOOooOOOoo, I'm not looking for a sponsorship for my next big wild crazy adventure, nor am I merely hoping to do a product photo shoot for your next catalog. I'm not like that. It's just not me. Not my style. I'm not that brazen, audacious, blatant, gutsy, forward, meretricious, nervy, assertive, imperturbable, sanguine, ballsy, presumptuous, temerarious, flagrant, effervescent, arrant, ostentatious... nor do I even know half those words I just typed... but if you do happen to have a few extra logo stickers layin' around... :^D I'm pushin' it, aren't I? Oh boy, I'm too much.

Gonzo - Thanks. I just ordered it!

As I said on other threads, the LE has increased my backpacking experience tremendously. The 3/4 will lighten me up a pound.

I Know What You Mean, Phil
Phil, I bought a slightly used full-length LE this winter and truely dig it. Although I got it specifically for the winter camping, I've been using it for overnighters at my local stomping grounds because it's just so darn comfortable. I have a 3/4 ultralight (not the new style) and the extra thickness of the LE, and especially the added length for my lower legs, now make that pad my pad of choice...OK, except for weekend or longer trips.

my new combination of short z-lite under my bivy and a short prolite 4 in my bivy worked great last weekend - so comfortable on my 2.25 inches of foam.

All righty. It's the Therm-a-Rest Backpacker 3/4 length. I guess I bought it sometime last year on close-out from REI or Campmor. It has been stored happily under my bed, safe from UV light and heat. Thanks for the correction on spelling. I almost failed that subject.

It's the Therm-a-Rest Backpacker 3/4 length. I guess I bought it sometime last year on close-out from REI or Campmor. It has been stored happily under my bed, safe from UV light and heat. Like I said, I have used it a grand total of 2 times, so it is basically NEW!

Hooray!
Got my new Therm-a-rest LE 3/4 today. If I put a pillow above the pad and sleep in my normal position (curled up on my side), my feet are still on the pad! Don't know why I didn't do this before...saves me a pound with no loss in comfort.

Now I need to decide what to do for a chair conversion kit...modify my old one or buy a new one.

Phil - My 3/4 Therm-a-rest works with my Therm-a-rest lite chair kit. You just fold it a little different.
I put the top in, then fold the bottom in, fold the extra back and it's done.
