Thermo-Rest for saleView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 44 of 44 messages posted.
“If anyone is in need, I am looking to sell my Thermo-Rest. Full disclosure: I have used it 2 times, both car-camping situations. I am selling it because I just downright dislike it. Can't get a good night's sleep on it. I far and away prefer my Ridge-Rest. If you have any questions, just post. I will consider any reasonable offers.” 10:27:39 AM 4/28/04 “What size and model?” 10:33:13 AM 4/28/04 “If it is the Thermarest LE 3/4, I'll make you an offer.” 11:04:19 AM 4/28/04 “I will have to look at the tag. Can't remember the specs at the moment 'cause my brain isn't working today.” 6:30:53 PM 4/28/04 “To be completely politically correct, it's "Therm-a-Rest®", not Thermo-Rest. I'm sure the management and staff of Cascade Designs® would like to thank me profusely at this time. Your welcome.” 6:38:03 PM 4/28/04 Profuse thanks to Buck “On behalf of the management and staff of Cascade Designs consider yourself profusely thanked. Rick Klug Cascade Designs Sales Support” 7:41:27 PM 4/28/04 “rickklug, So, what happened to the Therm-a-rest LE 3/4 in the product line? Was it replaced by the Expedition Short? I have an LE long and love it, but want a lighter version...hence the desire for a 3/4.” 10:24:22 PM 4/28/04 I have the 3/4... “and really appreciate it. I also have the chair kit on it and REALLY appreciate that too!.” 11:58:52 PM 4/28/04 “Wow, there really is Cascade Designs® management here, cool! I love all Cascade Designs® products, and you can quote me on that. "I think Cascade Designs® is a fantastic company with awesome products and has really really really really ridiculously good looking management and staff." - Buck (circa 2004) NoooOOOooOOOoo, I'm not looking for a sponsorship for my next big wild crazy adventure, nor am I merely hoping to do a product photo shoot for your next catalog. I'm not like that. It's just not me. Not my style. I'm not that brazen, audacious, blatant, gutsy, forward, meretricious, nervy, assertive, imperturbable, sanguine, ballsy, presumptuous, temerarious, flagrant, effervescent, arrant, ostentatious... nor do I even know half those words I just typed... but if you do happen to have a few extra logo stickers layin' around... :^D I'm pushin' it, aren't I? Oh boy, I'm too much.” 12:21:34 AM 4/29/04 “phil....check this out.... http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=7534&memberId=12500226 they have the 3/4 LE for $57....” 1:40:45 AM 4/29/04 “Gonzo - Thanks. I just ordered it! As I said on other threads, the LE has increased my backpacking experience tremendously. The 3/4 will lighten me up a pound.” 2:30:10 AM 4/29/04 I Know What You Mean, Phil “Phil, I bought a slightly used full-length LE this winter and truely dig it. Although I got it specifically for the winter camping, I've been using it for overnighters at my local stomping grounds because it's just so darn comfortable. I have a 3/4 ultralight (not the new style) and the extra thickness of the LE, and especially the added length for my lower legs, now make that pad my pad of choice...OK, except for weekend or longer trips.” 6:08:29 AM 4/29/04 “my new combination of short z-lite under my bivy and a short prolite 4 in my bivy worked great last weekend - so comfortable on my 2.25 inches of foam.” 8:14:46 AM 4/29/04 “All righty. It's the Therm-a-Rest Backpacker 3/4 length. I guess I bought it sometime last year on close-out from REI or Campmor. It has been stored happily under my bed, safe from UV light and heat. Thanks for the correction on spelling. I almost failed that subject.” 9:27:39 AM 4/30/04 Anyone Interested? “Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?” 10:14:52 AM 5/03/04 “Did we ever discover the make and model?” 10:17:57 AM 5/03/04 “I am interested, but need more info” 10:23:56 AM 5/03/04 “same here..” 10:25:36 AM 5/03/04 “hey me first woman!!! LOL” 10:31:17 AM 5/03/04 “CATFIGHT! CATFIGHT!” 10:31:34 AM 5/03/04 “hey can i tell her where to put the thermo rest? hehehe” 10:32:38 AM 5/03/04 “blow it up...” 10:33:11 AM 5/03/04 LOL “I bid $10.” 10:33:59 AM 5/03/04 “..and I'll give it to some newbie that doesn't have one.” 10:37:34 AM 5/03/04 Once again... “It's the Therm-a-Rest Backpacker 3/4 length. I guess I bought it sometime last year on close-out from REI or Campmor. It has been stored happily under my bed, safe from UV light and heat. Like I said, I have used it a grand total of 2 times, so it is basically NEW!” 5:56:02 PM 5/03/04 “Blow it up and do what? Sorry guys, this is a Therm-a-Rest not a Girl-a-Rest :)” 5:58:10 PM 5/03/04 “lmao.. 20 dollars” 6:59:17 PM 5/03/04 “$5.00” 7:34:26 PM 5/03/04 “$4.50” 7:37:42 PM 5/03/04 stored happily under my bed “how do you know it was happy under your bed. think about that one. ok. i am still interested even if these clowns are not. I will email you.” 9:26:18 AM 5/04/04 “OK, OK. $4.00.” 10:55:22 AM 5/04/04 Hooray! “Got my new Therm-a-rest LE 3/4 today. If I put a pillow above the pad and sleep in my normal position (curled up on my side), my feet are still on the pad! Don't know why I didn't do this before...saves me a pound with no loss in comfort. Now I need to decide what to do for a chair conversion kit...modify my old one or buy a new one.” 5:46:56 PM 5/05/04 “Phil - My 3/4 Therm-a-rest works with my Therm-a-rest lite chair kit. You just fold it a little different. I put the top in, then fold the bottom in, fold the extra back and it's done.” 5:51:16 PM 5/05/04 “But can you fit yourself, Treebeard, and Mapleleaf on a 3/4 LE Therm-a-Rest? That's my concern here.” 6:26:40 PM 5/05/04 “Buck - It sounds like we could! (but it wouldn't be pretty).” 8:23:26 PM 5/05/04 “dang is he selling it or not?” 9:17:41 PM 5/05/04 “Yes, I am selling it. I am out of town all the time for work, so don't check in on this site every day :). I have been down to Joshua Tree the past week. Anyone serious, please e-mail me. Thanks” 9:42:26 AM 5/06/04 “emailed you last week already. so i guess you never got it right? hey I am trying here!” 9:44:11 AM 5/06/04 Mapleleaf “I just e-mailed you back. I was out of town most of the week last week, too. Dang, I love my job :)” 9:47:57 AM 5/06/04 “sure you were, i know when im being ignored LOL” 9:48:55 AM 5/06/04 “rox made you a serious offer. Don't leave her out of the running.” 9:50:15 AM 5/06/04 “Yeah, I just love to ignore people I don't even know just to see if I can get to them... (insert evil laugh here)” 9:50:29 AM 5/06/04 “yes, let Rox go for it. thanks anyway.” 9:55:56 AM 5/06/04 Rox “I have one other person who contacted me via e-mail about the ground pad, so I have to get in touch with them. Hopefully, I can let you know soon if you're still interested.” 10:01:13 AM 5/06/04
