Divinity! That's terrible! My mother called me yesterday and told my my grandmother was in the hospital for some type of heart problem--she was okay when they called and I'd assume someone would tell me if anything changes. If you're still in OH on Monday give me call, especially if something bad happens and you need to do something to get your mind off of anything. Prayers.”

“you should come up for the Carolina's Hikers annual Blueberry Massacre at Greyson Highlands Memorial weekend. My girls and some other kids come for that.

I also want to do some swimming hole hiking with the kids over the summer.”

“Theres a "All About the Kids" trip planned in August but it's up in Northern Michigan, i was gonna try to go, but don't think I can swing it.

Good point about swimming, Oct would be to chilly and they'd still want to probably. August would be pretty nice.”

I was thinkin the Smokies campgrounds cause of the kids, carcamping/basecamping seems to be easier with the little short legged bunch.”

“I take my 10 year old backpacking and she loves it. The 8 year old loves camping but really isn't into the backpacking thing but she will go in a few miles and basecamp. Greyson Highlands is perfect for kids. plenty of water, wild ponies, and easy trails ontop of ridgelines”

Hey Carlette how about a kid's hike South mtn. The kids could play in the creek and some of us cuold even do some fishing. Or...the Wilson creek area...hmmm or Nandahala(sp?)
