Lets put the Windorama to bed

“OK, I have been looking at the map and am thinking about where to camp.

The first night will be under Dome Peak near the treeline and New Fork River.

Second night would be Upper Lozier Lake unless we think we can get further down the road.

Third night @ Thompson Lake which is off trail but should be very easy to get to and fun. Great fishing I read as is Lozier Lake.

I have a few other ideas and will
spring them on you next week. It will be all good. Trust Big Poppa.”

We'll be at the Log Cabin Motel the night before we sleep at the TH under the last name Clark. Still wondering what campground. I am going to pack Monday or Tuesday. I know it is going to be heavy. I might just go with the heavy pack because of the low milage. I have been training with a 50 pd pack and feel pretty comfortable.

I had to get a new suitcase also. Had to get a 26" tall one so my trekking poles would fit in and thick enought for my bear can.
I plan on carrying my new GG Vapor Trail backpack on the plane with clothing and sleeping bag in it.
All the metal stuff and everything else inside the checked suitcase.”

“Two things. I ment to write late afternoon. 5 or 6 pm in Pinedale.

I have been putting some waypoints down for my GPS and it looks like the first day might be around 7 miles. That is a little longer then I thougnt. I would like to hit the trail no later then 9 AM, but I am no way dictating this. We will hit it when everyone is ready.

We still have to take care of the shuttle on Friday night or early, early Saturday morning. Any thoughts about that?”
