“nice trail....Took the Bushkill creek side from Rt 402....Buskhkill is a nice wide creek, some great camp sites nice and illegaly placed along the banks, cars on the opposite bank, trash, tables, tarps and other crap littering the opposite banks....more ticks than you can shake a mud hen at, and a big looooud thunderstorm. however, it IS a nice trail, and i plan to return to walk the rest of it, and also to find the trash monsters in the middle of the night and scare them enough that they never return.”

“We missed you out there! We did our hike from the other direction and camped at Spruce Run. That thunderstorm was fantastic! I take a lot of pics...you can see them at http://community.webshots.com/user/chillawilla

I didn't see the cars and trash. How far in was that? I'll call the rangers with the location. That side isn't road accessable and some idiot fishermen or turkey hunters should be given a talking to. They'd need ATV's to get in along Bushkill by the trail. What were they driving? morons”

“Couldnt miss it...its right on the bushkill where it meets the trail on a bend...about 3 miles in,...looked like 2 grown folks and 2 kids, had a gas grill and a mistubishi out there...then about 200 yds down from them was what looked like the scene of a party the night before. stools, tables, chairs, coolers, trash and beer cans everywhere, etc....but it was deserted. i tracked whoever it was back up to a road, but left it there. im sure they were long gone...”

“operator - was this on the opposite side of the Bushkill? We saw a lot of debris on the other side and I was told that was either Scout property or private or some other organization. I forget which.”

“Ok. I know where you were now. That area is Camp William Penn and there is little we can do about that. Private scout property. Too bad they aren't teaching better manners. :-( That's depressing.

Come up and see it again. I promise the rest of the trail is MUCH nicer to look at. :)”
