We've got some of the bestest paddlin you could imagine...and the food on the river isn't too bad either. Most usually, there are at least 2 gourmet chef's in attendance on most weekend. Your presence would be most welcome to make it 3.

I'm plannin on a trip to the Cuivre River this summer. It is north of St Louis. I'm hoping that Lizs will come down for that. If you'd be interested in that, I can let you know. I'v not canoed that river, but Backpacker did a story on it some time ago...and I've talked to an outfitter that can shuttle vehicles for a very reasonable price.

Prosecutor has this reputation that he is the Mt Everest of back country cooking. I thought it would be nice to invite him to a venue where his cooking skills would be showcased and augmented by others of the same skill level. Plus, Simer, his dog didn't piss in my house.
