Time to start planning
A question came up on another thread in regard to TC4. It will be held at the same time (Columbus Day Weekend), at the same place (Martins Fork in Cumberland Gap).

Smokygirl is finalizing the plans with Barb and the Town of Cumberland Gap.

I may have class that weekend, but I won't have graduation that weekend. So I'm a definate 'yes.' Besides, I've been working with my mom at making a family recipe backpacking-friendly...and I'm gonna win with it.

I heard from Smokygirl this morning.

There will be a breakfast contest as well. Probably in Cumberland Gap (actual Gap) prior to the hike in to Martins Fork. Other activities are being planned as well. More to follow as soon as the "official" schedule is ready.

It will be October 15th and 16th. Registration is Friday night, the 15th. TC4 will be on Saturday like it was last year. It's a 7.5 mile requirement to participate in the cookoff (no shuttle unless you just want to hang like Tilt :D). If someone is not physically able to hike that requirement, there will be a breakfast cook-off Saturday morning, and there should be enough time to take a shuttle up to Martin's Fork or just hike in after the breakfast cook-off. A website is in the making for Heritage Trails Festival - TC has its own website. Rules and entry form will be available soon.
