Is that southern thing? I've never had boiled peanuts. I seem to remember seeing them passing through Georgia once, but never tried them.

Never had boiled Peanuts?
Heretic!!!!

They are the best one the peanut has reached the consistency of a half congealed booger and are as salty as a deer's salt lick.

I think I'll pass on the salty boogers.

I lived in FLA for awhile back in 93 and there was boiled peanut stands next to roads all over the place!! I still have never tried em tho. I dont like the idea of boiled peanuts if its anything like boiled crabs(big in Jersey)boiling just washed the flavor away.

Boiled peanuts are the best. Particularly when they are boiled in cajun spices.

nasty!! Very, very nasty!! I tried them once...never again.Well, unless I am starving.

I had a peanut butter sandwich the other day....pretty good too:
walmwart sells those flatbreads, kind a like a softtaco, but a bit thicker. You roll 'em.

spread peanutbutter and jelli on it and roll...yummy! Peanutbutter yelli sandwich.

#&%!$ man when harvest season is underway i usually get a sack of peanuts to boil...they are kick ass....cajun spices, salt, whatever you want to flavor them with...they are pretty damn popular with most people who try them...

Do you have to carry Coca Cola with you to drop the peanuts in? If you don't know what I'm talking about...it's a southern thang.

only roasted ones go in the coke ski, not the boiled ones, eat the boiled ones all by themselves.

The boiled ones are best hot right out of the cooker.

the boiled ones in the the bag sell at the same rate as gold. Too expensive!! They've had it in the can for years...but they are too salty. Fresh, out of the cooker...mmmmmmmmmm boiled all day long...sea salt....dayum!
