What a gem. They don't get much better than this folks. Here's a site that brings so much depth to our beloved Sierra.

There are the people of the Eastern Sierra here. Their poems, their photos, their songs,... their lives.

Go there, read, and be inspired.

And the developer of the site has included a collection of my photos, but you just have to read the Sierra Crossing poem. It's one woman's trip report of the High Sierra Trail in 1964. It's written as poetic prose. Masterful.
