Childless couple told to try sex

A German couple who went to a fertility clinic after eight years of marriage have found out why they are still childless - they weren't having sex.

The University Clinic of Lubek said they had never heard of a case like it after examining the couple who went to see them last month for fertility tests.

Doctors subjected them to a series of examinations and found they were both apparently fertile, and should have had no trouble conceiving.

A clinic spokesman said: "When we asked them how often they had had sex, they looked blank, and said: "What do you mean?".

"We are not talking retarded people here, but a couple who were brought up in a religious environment who were simply unaware, after eight years of marriage, of the physical requirements necessary to procreate."

The 30-year-old wife and her 36-year-old husband are now being given sex therapy lessons while the university clinic undertakes a study to try to find out if there are more couples with a similar lack of sex education.

i don't believe it. There simply is no german out there that doesn't know how to make babies.

come on!! I mean I was one of the last ones in my class...but you'll learn it in school!! We learned all about sex in school. If you skip school on those days...well then there the other kids that make sure you'll know!

to many kids out there bragging that they did have sex. No way jose!

Phaedrus - I watched Big Fish over the weekend. They had that timeless joke about the milkman in that movie too.

First, its funny to hear (read) the German lady say (type) "Jose". LOL!

Second, did they think babies were made by kissing? Are there not normal urges that lead people to, you know, do it??

Hey, I went through a lot of pain and suffering to make sure I won't be able to father any more children. I'm not going to let some big-arsed aquatic bird screw up my golden years, dammit.

YOUR pain and suffering? i bet your wife would have preferred the stork to 9 months of suffering through parasitism and going through labor, what do you think? hee hee.

We didn't have a third because I thought she'd go crazy with another kid in the house, so delivery method didn't factor into the equation. We could have rented a uterus and it still would have been a bad idea, lol...

Hey Scorchie, why don't we get together and find out!!! :o)

This actually happened to a team of Japanese animal researchers a few years ago also.

Seems like they were having seex by just rubbing their belly buttons together. They couldn't understand why the wife couldn't get pregnant.

##@#@!$%%#@
you guys!!!!
we have sexual eduction in school. Meaning we learn all about the man/female body, reproduction organs, etc... we learn how man and woman make children. Every person does learn that in school.

I remember a time when I was like 11 or so, I thought you get kids when you marry. Yes..but I was 11...then I had sexual education class. (which btw is also a biology class)

okay?? I don't know why I always have to make it soooooooo clear. You'll know exactelly what I mean.
