More to add. We plan toi sustain ourselves on the cicadas by opening our mouths while we hike. By the way, anyone is welcome to join us on any hike we do.

We have done it in the winter, though not naked. At least from me that would produce a glare visible in other time zones, haha. Ah, the pasty whiteness.....

I think they're jealous of us Red. So were all the people we passed on the Old Loggers Path. I thik the one guy was physically irritated. How 'bout it?

If there any events near PA over this summer that would qualify for uberness (i.e. triathalons, trail runs, enduro hikes, etc.) could all you people lemme know about them. I wanna do as much of this stuff while i'm young and not broken yet.

thinking about all things uber, we found an empty bottle of Yeagermeister on the trail last weekend. Having the stones to polish of a bottle of that and still keep hiking is very uber.

How bad does this blow? Parents call off the Chuck Keiper trail uber hike because "the wethers going to be bad and we dont wan tyou two to wreck the car driving there, or fall on wet rocks, and get struck by lightning or anything. You have a two week hike in New Mexico coming up in a week, you dont wanna get hurt and not be able to go to that do you??" ...but cant i get injured steping off a curb just as easily?

That dude is nuts...
Incidentally, I just read the article about him last night in Backpacker Magazine. Haha, Turbo and I thought we were nuts at times...wow. Anyway, tomorrow is the Uber-hiker outreach program, where we're doing the 10 mile Golden Eagle Trail in northern PA with some various people in a non-uber fashion. Should be fun, I'll post the trip report tomorrow evening sometime.
