Ever wonder what to do with those nylon lash patches from those old worn out packs? No? Well I did and Im gonna tell ya about it anyway!
I took 2 4" nylon lash patches and glued/sewed them together back to back ,then run some 1" webbing through one side and made a loop at the top .Then I used the other end of the webbing to attach a nylon pouch on the front and a smaller pouch on the back. It made a pretty nifty 2.5oz sheath for my fixed blade knife in no time at all! Ill prolly use the front pouch for a small compass fire starters etc.And i have a small wet stone that fits perfectly in the small pouch on the back. I have a couple (not so good )pics if any are interested.
