Just thought I would let everyone know that the NYS troopers are doing a statewide patrol this weekend starting today. They’ll be on the lookout for speeders, drunk drivers, seat belts, and cell phone users. So, watch your speed, wear your seat belt, and if you need to use your cell phone pull over to the side of the road or use a hands free set.

Conformist!

If I need to use my cell phone in NY State, I'll be sure to drive extremely fast and use evasive driving maneuvers.

How I Wish we had a similar cellphone law down here in la-la land. I don't know how many times per day I see someone talking on their phone who has apparently forgotten that they're driving in traffic... They're weaving over the line. They're going 15 mph under the speed limit. They're turning right from the left lane, AGAIN....

This 'survival of the fittest' thing isn't working fast enough to suit me, LOL

Remember when you could park on the street for free in this country? Am I the only one who senses our freedoms are being taken away? The freedom to park. The freedom not to fasten your seat belts. To not have to worry about having a working muffler. Back then, you could tell a man was coming by the black smoke belching from his American car as he tossed beer cans and French fry packages out the window. Now, how's a man supposed to have fun? I weep for this country.

Down here, even the cops talk on cell phones as they drive. I suppose thats good since it allows you to make illegal left turns right in front of them and they don't notice.

Hyway
Cops in Chicago also talk on cell phones when they're on patrol. It's not illegal, yet, to talk on the phone and drive, but I assume that even when the law is passed Chicago Cops will continue to talk on the phone while on patrol.

The standard for Germantown housewives is the biggest #&%!$ing SUV made and a cell phone in their ear.

They will need that big SUV, when they crash into some average sized car. Then they'll #&%!$ that that sum-of-a-beach cut her off.
