helinka. I have made quite a few chair kits. It is very easy to do. The most important item to have is the stiff support rods. I have used old tent poles slid into sleeves of nylon or polypro webbing depending if I want a very light chair kit or not. When I go solo I use the tent pole in my chair kit as support for my tarp...and yes I know you can only use at a time...so what.
