When's it okay to slap someone upside th e head?

“As I get older, I find myself less tolerant of people who do not listen to you when you answer the questions they ask. Example of a conversation I had earlier today on the phone:

Her: So, what are your hours?
Me: I work the afternoon shift, 3:30PM to Midnight.
Her: All the time?
Me: Yes. That is my work shift for a few more years.
Her: Wow...that sucks.
Me: I like it. But, listen, I gotta let you go cause I just pulled up to my next job.
Her: Okay. Well, I am meeting my friends at 8:30PM to go out. Sure you don't wanna go?
Me: 8:30 tonight?
Her: Yes.
Me: I am working and will be working until midnight.
Her: Oh...that's right. That blows. You work that all the time?
Me: Yes, and I really have to go cause now I am in the customers driveway, so have fun tonight. Talk to you later.
Her: Okay. I'll call you tomorrow.
CLICK!

So...I think there is either past drug use or current drug use.”
