Lets see......This $72 is really burning a jhole in my pocket and I'm itching to get over there....

I don't have a chair, but I have a wicked like foam pad I picked up somewhere.... How important is a chair....I usually park it on the ground or a log if available..

I saw a kewl knife in there before I had the credit!!!

Slack has one of those MIOX's, I think he said it was pretty good.

I would go for a Hennessy Hammock if you don't have one. Bought mine a couple weeks ago and love it.

My HH is in the mail. Should be here next week. At Canfield's in Omaha, a saleman was showing off the Miox. It does look cool, but in some cases you have to wait 4 hours for the water to be drinkable. Ouch. I'd love to save the weight, but I'll stick with my Miniworx for now.

Something "kewl and interesting"... I guess if you don't count each ounce, the chair kit is a good idea. BTW, its all essential! :)

Hey, HOI, maybe it's the TerraQuest2...I heard they came out with a cheaper version that has fewer features. The feature set of the TQ is a little fat if you ask me.

Buy yourself something very uber. How about a French expresso press (I am in no way supportive of France).

Buy an ice axe-mountain axe. Very versatile tool. Weapon, cat hole digger, camera monopod, tent stake, belay, self-arrest, and looks cool strapped on the pack.

Snafu, what about something titanium? Like a pot set?
Or
How about a Thermarest Prolite?
I have a chair kit that I hardly ever use for Backpacking.

I used my jacket in the woods and even around the house.... works great! repels water wicked good, and breaths very good too. I like how it packs into it's own pocket. I do take extra care to not rip or puncture it.
