“OK I have $72 credit at a gear store.... I have pretty much everything I need (we never have everything!) but I really don't know what else I could use???? I need some idea's??? Remember it's only $72!!! Thanks for you help in advance :-)” 2:05:47 PM 6/02/04 “New thermarest and chair kit?” 2:09:56 PM 6/02/04 “Put it toward the MSR Miox and then tell us if its worth buying...” 2:11:46 PM 6/02/04 “I could use a ______________ Ok, be nice to me (those of you that read the "dating sucks" thread)” 2:12:00 PM 6/02/04 “Are you taking orders? I could use a chair kit and trekking poles. You're the best, snafu!!!” 2:12:27 PM 6/02/04 “mtnmom@....LOL I just was reading your dating sucks post.... Lets see......This $72 is really burning a jhole in my pocket and I'm itching to get over there.... I don't have a chair, but I have a wicked like foam pad I picked up somewhere.... How important is a chair....I usually park it on the ground or a log if available.. I saw a kewl knife in there before I had the credit!!!” 2:23:28 PM 6/02/04 “I need a new sail. LOL” 2:23:33 PM 6/02/04 “I will email you my home address....(wink)” 2:24:26 PM 6/02/04 “the chair kits ROCK man, I never thought I'd like one until I borrowed someone elses for a few minutes, it was wicked comfortable!” 2:26:21 PM 6/02/04 “Slack has one of those MIOX's, I think he said it was pretty good. I would go for a Hennessy Hammock if you don't have one. Bought mine a couple weeks ago and love it.” 2:27:46 PM 6/02/04 “roam, was that the chair you were sitting on waiting for scorch?” 2:30:43 PM 6/02/04 “Dub... I have a HH luv it too!!!! I have all the main things... I need an extra goodie.... You know something kewl and interesting but not esential!” 2:33:17 PM 6/02/04 “My HH is in the mail. Should be here next week. At Canfield's in Omaha, a saleman was showing off the Miox. It does look cool, but in some cases you have to wait 4 hours for the water to be drinkable. Ouch. I'd love to save the weight, but I'll stick with my Miniworx for now. Something "kewl and interesting"... I guess if you don't count each ounce, the chair kit is a good idea. BTW, its all essential! :)” 2:49:51 PM 6/02/04 “You could get a TerraQuest.” 2:54:14 PM 6/02/04 “where the heck did you find a TerraQuest for only $72 (or less)?” 4:11:57 PM 6/02/04 “Would you like my account number so we can begin the transfer??” 4:34:19 PM 6/02/04 “Hey, HOI, maybe it's the TerraQuest2...I heard they came out with a cheaper version that has fewer features. The feature set of the TQ is a little fat if you ask me.” 4:37:23 PM 6/02/04 “Capilene undies.” 6:48:52 PM 6/02/04 “No you can get a TerraQuest for $70 from this guy I know that found one that fell of the back of a truck.” 7:20:12 PM 6/02/04 “Buy yourself something very uber. How about a French expresso press (I am in no way supportive of France).” 8:40:45 PM 6/02/04 “Buy an ice axe-mountain axe. Very versatile tool. Weapon, cat hole digger, camera monopod, tent stake, belay, self-arrest, and looks cool strapped on the pack.” 11:35:01 PM 6/02/04 “Snafu, what about something titanium? Like a pot set? Or How about a Thermarest Prolite? I have a chair kit that I hardly ever use for Backpacking.” 8:42:43 AM 6/03/04 “keen sandles size 7 1/2 mail to me.. I will email you my address...pay you later...lol” 9:14:23 AM 6/03/04 update “Turns out my credit was $85 !!! I got on sale a new pair of Marmot precip FULL leg zip pants to go with my Precip jacket. Also I got a pair of Smartwool Hikers and a splash gaurd for my nalgene bottle.... yeeeeeeha Thanks to all for the helpful suggestions from ya'll. I'm sorry I was not able to satisfy your needs. $85 only stretches soooooooo far.... When I win the lottery I will have a give away day at Binkleys store..."all you can carry in one arm for free"...How's that sound?LOL” 4:44:39 PM 6/11/04 “Sounds nice... i need to get me a precip outfit, how ya like the jacket? And btw, you better make it one hand, they got some mighty expensive outdoor gear nowdays.” 6:08:28 PM 6/11/04 “I used my jacket in the woods and even around the house.... works great! repels water wicked good, and breaths very good too. I like how it packs into it's own pocket. I do take extra care to not rip or puncture it.” 9:06:22 PM 6/11/04
