“We have a couple recreational kayaks and they are fine. We use them Spring, Summer and into Fall here in TN. I want an open deck kayak next with a dry storage compartment. Being the waterdog that I am..... its so nice to be able to just roll off the side and swim when you feel like it. The dry storage compartment gives you a spot to stow a lunch, something to drink, your camera, sunblock, etc.
We went kayaking yesterday and had a blast! Went swimming and swinging in off the rope. It was too much fun!”

“We are sure no expert kayakers. No indeedy. Idiots..... yes. Risk takers.... yes! but experts... never. Little River has some lovely spots of flatwater and just enough rapids to make it fun and easy. Class 2 rapids in some places. Nothing extreme. We go on Little river, the HIwassee, and Tellico Lake. We want to go down to the Conasauga and try that. I hope to get a dry suit before going. Its cold water!

“I could probably feel very good about going on the slower water as I have never tried before. Maybe in July one day if your up for it.. in 5 days I start summer break but June if filled.
