Good Movie
I didn't see this thread, so I already posted this on the movie trend site:

I saw the new Harry Potter movie today. It was a really good movie. An interesting woven tale, with great special effects.

THE PROBLEM, before the movie, there were commercials. I don't mean previews, which they had also, but commercials. The movie was about 2hrs. 15 min., and I was in the theater for 3 hours.

It made a good movie almost intolerable to watch, because of the length of time spent sitting down. Because it just came out, you had to get there early.

Three hours is too long to sit. I live 1/2 hr. south of Seattle, and in that 3 hr period I spent in the theater, I could have driven to British Columbia and had lunch.

I'm never going to a movie that's just released again."

I liked it. You could really tell the tone and mood had changed and this one wasn’t made by the same director. I know it’s got to be hard to decide what to keep and what to cut when the books are so large but I did go away feeling like I had watched a highlight reel rather than getting the whole story.

A great flick but the books are still better.
