“After all this country has put up with, gave up, fallen into, found out, and all the rocks that have been turned up with little surprises under them, it is, for once, nice to see this story sitting under one of those rocks. I can put up with this story, and give up a few minutes of my time to watch this race, and fall into the lines at the track to place a bet, even after finding out the odds are 2-5. This is what America needs. A good feel story that is genuine and warming. Pardon me if I am being too sappy. It's time a little sappiness brought joy and hope instead of disceet and dishonesty to the American people. How ironic that it is a 3 year old colt who brings the joy and hope. I hope history is made today by this hourse.”
