Give me a good topic for an argumentative paper for a class. Preferably something that is not split along lib/conservative lines, or even politics at all. Something that will have a good amount of information that can be dug up. I can't think of anything.

And not along liberal/con lines either, I take it, LOL

I'm getting a little verklempt... The Cold War was neither cold nor a war. Discuss.

Actually a search on "debate topics" yields many hits... I found some interesting topics at RAND. Unfortunately, any discussion of public policy will have some political undertones.

Hmmm. How about this?

Yes, but both sides have to be argued...

And Tilt thanks for making the interesting observation; why did I choose to abbreviate the short word and spell out the long one? There has to be some kind of clue into my psyche about that.

Tilt, very interesting and helpful website, thanks. I was in a hurry, home on lunch break and drawing a blank. Thanks folks.

I hope it was worth it. The doughnut lobby is after me now.
