“Most parents know that serials many killers started their grisly careers by torturing and killing animals. Can someone please explain to this clueless internet troll just why so many Americans are not only willing, but apparently anxious to turn over what is supposed to be the most precious things in their lives, their children, to private parochial schools to be educated as potential serial killers?

Let’s review a recent asinine (sorry, I would like to use a stronger word, but thebackpacker.com is a classy place) religious school death cult outrage.


Students Use Dead Animals In School Prank

BALTIMORE -- A school prank disturbed many officials and students when the remains of dead animals turned up on the grounds of a Baltimore private school.

Baltimore Lutheran School officials are concerned and so are the classmates of those students responsible. And they said the punishment was simply too light, WBAL-TV 11 News education reporter Tim Tooten reported.

A school custodian discovered the remains of five animals scattered across campus on May 21.

School officials called police to the campus, and they made a disturbing discovery.

"Apparently, they found two dead cats, a deer and a skunk. .... The officer continued to investigate and found a truck, and in the bed of the truck, several maggots and the smell of dead animals," Baltimore County police spokesman Shawn Vinson said.

That truck led investigators to five students -- all seniors. They were not arrested. Instead, the situation was handled by the school. School officials told 11 News that they punished students.

But some concerned classmates of those in trouble said the punishments were not severe enough.

"I feel it's not right that they're getting away with a slap on the wrist and not getting expelled like they said we would be at the beginning of the year," one student told 11 News.

"It's very frustrating because we all tried to do what we could to keep the school healthy and they went and did this now they are graduating tomorrow," another student said.

The school's headmaster, Randy Gast, said the incident was at the lowest level, a prank and a poor choice.
