Loomis Peak day hike photos

“Rodney and I just got back from a hike up Loomis Peak in Lassen. This is one of my favorite places in CA, I've bivyed on it over 40 times, led many full moon hikes up it and lost count of the day hikes up it. I've seen mountain lions, deer, fox's and elk near the summit. Catch it right and it's covered with wild flowers......and the sunsets and sunrises are truly amazing.

It also offers some of the most incredible ski runs during the winter and early spring. Skiing from the top, to Manzanita Lake, is done only by a handful of folks each year.

If any of you get out this way, I will gladly take you up here...it's my Church.
