Hidden Passage Trail--actual length? “I did Hidden Passage in Pickett State Park here in Tennessee about a month ago and really enjoyed it. I am confused though as to its actual length. It is posted on the trailhead sign at Pickett as eight miles, but it certainly felt like more, and I've seen it listed in some sources (including here on thebackpacker.com) as ten. More, the ranger at BSF (who ought to know, she wrote the definitive book on the area) says it's ten and she rolled the wheel on it. Is that correct, or is it really just eight, and ten when combined with the spur trails?” 9:04:24 AM 6/10/04 “I was thinking that it is 10 miles. That was the 1st trail I ever backpacked. I need to get back up there again.” 11:50:08 AM 6/10/04 “It is a stunning and relatively easy walk. I bet it's spectacular in the winter when the foliage is down and you can see all the rock formations. I am planning to do the Rock Creek trail at BSF and do a bit of a detour so I can link the two. Should be fun.” 9:42:21 AM 6/11/04
