Have a Good Summer

“I thought about doing an "I hate you all, I'm leaving" thread, but that's so over used these days...

But, I'm heading out tomorrow, going to my summer internship as a camp counselor/trail guide. Hopefully before long this summer I'll be leading trips and be getting paid to backpack.

I'll probably check in once in a while through the summer, but I won't have internet access at camp. So, I wish everybody a good summer, I'll miss this place. I'll return this fall, I'll have to post some kind of trip report of the trips I do this summer.

My Dissapointment trail trip is still on for this fall, dont' get discouraged if you ask me a question and I dont' answer - but i'll update the trip and get it ready when i return in the fall.

“Enjoy yourself, I hope it is a learning experience for you and the campers. There is much to be said for working with children and you never stop learning from them...or them from you. Keep your self clean and watch out for those campers that they don't put gum in your socks or something stupid. Have a great time!


As for me... I am in the Smokies as of today. Wish you all were here as I view the smokies from the back door of the house I am staying in...NOT...lol anyway sounds like summer time is a great time for us all, more hiking is the best part.”
