In Germany for 2 weeks, wife getting PRK on Tuesday. Spent yesterday in Trier, oldest city in Germäny. Checked out the medieval church, wall, and ampitheater. Visited the birthplace and home of Carl(Karl?) Marx. Day before we did Keiserslautern, pretty cool downtown district, decor theme of the city is of huge, colorful fish. Don't know what it means, hehe. Ate Indian food!!!

Can eat a great variety of foods here, and do WalMarts to boot!!! North Italy, in all it's wonders, leaves spoiled Americans lacking for a great deal (I would never have imagined that). My wife considers it Third World, hehe.

Anyhow, did y'all know that German keyboards are a little different than ours? The y and the z are switched, as are the things like ' ,I can do these too: ü ö ä.

Check in later with some det's. We'll look into Luxembourg, France, Belgium, and here in Germany the Black Forest, Rheine River, and Heidelburg. We're hoping to be able to hit Tongeren, Belguim for their Sunday Antique market. Don't yet know on that one tho. Later all.

I love Germany, the food (oh my the food), the beer, the history, the people, awesome. One day I hope to go back there and work with the military as a civilian.

Nekkid-

It's good to see your post. Trier is an amazing town because many buildings there seem to be quite ancient. Being stationed at nearby Bitburg, a group of us military guys got to spend some time there.

We did a lot of class 5 climbing in Luxembourg, too. Twas the country of cobblestone streets and carriages.
