WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Supreme Court on Monday ruled that a California father could not challenge the Pledge of Allegiance, a decision that sidestepped the broader question of the separation of church and state.

talk about pathetic.

whatever your opinion is, for or against, it's incredibly cheezy for the SUPREME COURT to sidestep the issue.

they're the friggin SUPREME COURT for gods sake. they should have a sign on the door into the courtroom that says THE BUCK STOPS HERE.

they're a$$holes in my opinion for sidestepping the issue that way.

Yep, but they seem to love to do this kind of thing from cases emanating from the 9th district.

Sacco, perhaps they have cases with some merit that deserve their attention.

Y'know, death sentence appeals, laws that affect peoples lives, not some BS about the precise wording of the pledge.

This was decided by several lower courts, and the Supremen Court quite rightly decided it had no merit.
Can you say "frivolous lawsuit"??

Jon Stewart is hillarious no matter which side he's jeering at the time.
