Name that dog!!!

“I just got a 7 week old Australian Shepard. Im hunting for the perfect name for her. She solid red with a white patch on her neck. She has green eyes. I got her to take with me on hikes and trips that i go on alone. Im looking for a name that has to do with hiking and backpacking. Any suggestions???”

“What about naming the dog after a red item, like "mango" or "Berry"? Is a mandgo red? I think it's red and green. Or name him after something that is red and white.

I know someone who names their dogs after "sea" names and another person names their dogs after "island" names.

"Grommit" is nice, but it means a reinforced hole. You don't want to have to explain that one to people, lol.

Some people I know use human names like, Jake, Henry, Oliver, Harley. The girl's names I've seen are Chloe & Olivia.

Well, my best friend came by for a 5 day visit. we welcomed him in and went out to get his bags. As Sass and I came back in the house we were greeted by my buddy holding his face with blood running down his arm dripping large drops of blood of his elbow. The dog had bit his arm,butt and face. Th face bite extended from his chin on one side to the opposite eye with a tooth puncturing his eye area between the eyeball itself and boney eyesocket.

The moral, dont get a used dog.”

“How about naming her Trouble? I'm sure she'll live up to the name at least a few times in her life. I'm a dog lover, but they always seem to get into trouble at some time. Mine has run into the woods and found stinky things to rollin more than once. He has also gone swimming at some of the most inopportune times. Perhapsthe time he dug up the freshly planted garden to find some cool dirt to lie in. He's a really good dog most of the time, but sure can be trouble at other times.”
