I'll need directions, my Canadian friend probably won't be able to drive past the airport.

I wouldn't worry about it -- the Scorch curse doesn't apply to this trip -- it's not her trip.

Oh, that's it. It's on now with me and Mr. Soul during this trip. Bring your boxin gloves!

Shep, I'm not going to bail. I am sooo looking forward to this trip. My life is in complete chaos right now and I need a realllllly relaxing weekend to get back on track. This is just the thing.

I am thinking more and more about leaving the teenagers with their father for this trip, or maybe it is the newcastle ale I am drinking, that is doing the typing.

Actually, I haven't met most of the people going on this trip yet, and what's worse is that I'm a local. I'll definitely be ringing the Who have you met register that weekend...

Please don't listen to Scorchy!
Wintersolstice, bring your kids. This trip is for them also. My daughter is 16 and my son is 12. If these kids have a bit of a bigger group, then the ones that are there will have a better shot at grouping up and finding some common ground to keep them occupied and interested in being there. If that happens, then we immature adults can have a little more freedom, knowing that our darling teens are happy little campers!!

So, there is a method to my madness. Take that, Scorch, you beeeyatch!!!!

Ditto Wintersolstice
"Wintersolstice, bring your kids. This trip is for them also.

I am worried about bringing my wife and she will be fine and so will the kids...lots of good people (the ones I have met) and it seems like plenty of room for all to have thier own space.

Hey Tree....can I have a partner in the cooking contest??? I have some friends who might join us for a night or 2 and she really wants to help?? Let me know.

I'm bringing a 13.5 year old boy.

If there are enough kids and they aren't "bored", maybe they will leave us alone......go off and set the woods on fire.

My son is bringing three of the grandkids, and LyndyS has her two daughters. The kids will have a blast too. They just won't get drunk (we hope), so wake-up call will be early in the morning.

Ouch!
I just read Tarabull's Alaska trip report.

One of the things I like about TT is the rapid answers to our most profound questions.

We are not worthy.

Geo and Mark have the right idea. That was the logic, to keep them busy with each other. Scorchy's a frumpy b!tch!!!!!

Bizarro Roam Around?

Kids come on trip. Me leave mine home!
Treebeard

6/30/04

ah, my kids are gone for the summer to the mama's house, theirs, not mine, that is. This is my time to play with reckless abandon, and so I shall! NY won't be the same when I'm done.

It's going to be a lot of fun for all, Roam. I forsee an 'interesting' trip here. We may need a few leashes...

Then again, if somebody gets too far out of line, we can just unleash the kids on them. That should bring them to their knees.

Oh yeah, THE HIT........

Treebeard, after we get through with our odyssey we will be in Ithaca.....hmmmmm

Linus may not recognize you, having lost weight.
You may not recognize him, having grown about 6-8 inches.

Just pretend you're meeting him for the first time.

I say: "It takes two to Love, Two to hate and Two to Tango" I have been part of all 3 :-)

Should this be moved to the "dating sucks" thread

I don't care if no supermodels nor Nicole comes to Ithaca...

I'm going to be wicked happy to just meet all the mugs behind the TT names. Beer mugs that is :-)
