A Canadian Wedding - Last of the Mohican sView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 4 of 4 messages posted.
“Last weekend, my buddy got married, leaving me as the last of my friends yet to enter into the worst contract a guy could ever sign. I arrived Thursday and gambled at the brand new . The Canadian Border Guard chicks were hot, so I tried my best to get strip searched, but they wern't biting. Lost some Canadian dough, and headed for some foofoo place called Niagara on the Lake on Friday. Friday was pretty cool. I checked into my bed a breakfast, and, much to my glee, across the street there was a picket line! Some nice looking women from CUPE 1287. It seems that this was the only strike in the history of Niagara on the Lake. Naturally, I walked the line with the ladies. I even spoke to a candidate for parliment from the New Democrat Party named Ted Mouradain. The dude was pretty cool, and we talked for about an hour of the differences among the Canadian and American governments. He noted that most people in Canada think Bush is a moron! I got a big kick out of that. After fulfilling my union duties, I set out to hike the Niagara Path that went along the river. It was a nice trail that ended up at Fort George. I took a tour and got a kick out of the replica packs and mess kits the soldiers used in 1802. The fort was credited for holding back the advance of the US in the War of 1812, which allows bachelors like me to be able to drive only 4 hours to buy Cuban cigars. That evening, I went to rehearsal dinner. The town was pretty cool, and a great place for couples. The region also boasts a ton of wineries, and many hot Canadian women. :) Later in the evening, we went out to some bar that was built in 1747. AFter doing many shots of vodka (our fraternity drink), I took a horse drawn carriage ride back to the B&B. Wedding day... we golfed in the morning. It was an awsome day, and the area was full of northwood forests and vinyards. Smoked some Cuban cigars and headed for the wedding. He tied the knot, we took pics, drank wine and ate dinner at The Prince of Wales Inn, where the Queen of England always stays. The flower girl thought I was a prince (I had a tux on), which I got a kick out of. Great town! If you are a couple in the New York, PA, OH area, you definately ought to go to Niagara on the Lake.” 4:04:49 PM 6/21/04 “"He noted that most people in Canada think Bush is a moron! They see America as rather corrupt, thanks to Dubya and Friends.” 4:41:13 PM 6/21/04 “Whew, I thought I had lost your heart forever. ;-)” 5:02:42 PM 6/21/04 dhutch “No way babe! You know I'm yours when you are ready!” 5:03:47 PM 6/21/04
