Nowslimmer in jail?

“Nowslimmer left my house about 3-4hours ago. He seemed a little down in the dumps after his 50th college reunion, but stated that he was fine and intended to stop in the Casino in the next town and do a little gambling on his way to visit his daughter in White Bear.

Got a call 5 minutes ago from NS saying that he got in a fight with some Native Americans at the casino and is now in the county jail. Can't be sure if he is pulling my leg or not. Do any of you know him, i.e. practical jokes, etc. I think he's looking at me for bail money. Thus far I've treated it as a joke, even replying "none who are above ground" when he asked me if I knew of a good attorney. I'm going to wait about half an hour and then call the County Jail and see if it's for real. I'll keep you posted.”

“I met him for the first time last week. He did a shuttle for me and was then headed for the reunion. He was excited about it. He didn't strike me as a practical jokester.....or a gambler.”

He's retired, doesn't really need to be anywhere, and I'm not willing to risk the bail one someone who's an unknown to me. I think he has a hearing later this week.”
