“Looks like perfect weather! I am leaving early Friday morn with a brief stop in Hoover. I look to be at the trailhead at the parking lot at around 2:00. All my gear is scattered all over the place. My home is not finnished from the storm dammage and stuff is all over the place. Maybe I will not forget anything important.”

“DDX - I should get there between 2 and 2:30. There are some good waterfalls on the other side of the river within a half mile of the parking lot if you get there early and want to explore. These are some falls I've never been to, but know where they are. I'm probably going to check them out on my way out on Sunday.

Galyans is pretty nice, but I still like the coziness of Alabama Outdoors.”

“Dayhiker, the birdge pictures are nice,I hope the waterfalls are running as nice as the ones in your pictures. I usely camp away from the group. I'm a early riser between 4 and 5. Most folks don't like allot of noise that time of day. If I get there after midnight I may sleep in till 6.”

“The waterfalls won't be as full as in those pics because those were all taken in Feb and early March. We've had a good bit of rain the last fews days though, so they should be in pretty good shape. Cullman had 2" of rain yesterday.

Also, it's been getting light here around 5:45 to 6. The days are supposed to be bright sunshine. If you're going to try for any exposures then you ought to be in good shape when you wake up.”

“It rained like a cow pissing on a flat rock in Huntsville yesterday, and most of the night too. I would guess that the creeks and streams will be pretty full tomorrow.”

“yes I may try to shoot some early.But I want to wonder around, and relax some. I will bring my veiw camera, and hope to set it up for a few frames. I may stay here untill monday , and then move to the bridges. Then on to GA,SC. I just would like to say that this is the most information and help I have ever received for a trip. With the maps,river crossing,water levels, and weather information. Thanks to eveyone.”
