“innane stuff. There became less and less backpacking outdoors stuff and more stupid stuff.

I have indeed been on-river every weekend since May. Some of the west coasters go backpacking in the Sierra's every weekend, well, I hit the water every weekend...river camping has taken on new dimensions of luxery...There is no such thing as "Ruffing It" with Dave and me. Just finished a 3 day 4th of July trip (my mother went too) where we ate a slab of BBQ ribs, baked beans, corn on the cob. Sunday night was roasted Turkey Breast, stuffing, corn on the cob and pumpkin pie. You all hike and suffer, me, I'm floatin and swimmin and eating. You are all invited, but, leave your timepeice at home, cause there ain't no such thing when your on the river with Dave and me.”

They started coming after me but I told them I was Irish Catholic and was hoping I could burn him in honor of Guy Faulkes.

“Not trolls, just changed names a couple times. I had two trolls early on (as well as a legit name) and I got banned. I had to promise to not troll to be let back in. You can find my old names with some searches including the trolls. But I'll make you work for it. My first post was in April 02 when I was buying gear.”
