btw: I wear fossils or guess right now. Depends on what's available at TJMax at the time. :)

No way I spend a fortune on glasses that I will loose on the trail.

i really can't believe that hardly anyone wears good sunglasses. maui jims are the best on the market. once you have worn them you will love them. they are all polarized with mirror coating. another top brand is costa del mars. you have many lens options, glass, plastic, grey brown, and blue or green mirrors. ok ok i'm an optician and i do get mine at cost or less but once you invest into a good pair you will learn real quick to take care of them

I've lost two things in the wild - swiss army watch & cheap sunglasses.

I replaced that watch with something from CVS.

Blue Blockers
I used to love Blue Blockers. I didn't know they still make them.
Can't believe this crowd isn't in to expensive eyewear, esp. for high altitude stuff. I tried out some of the style of Vaurnet, while sitting outside, waiting for customers. I have to admit, I didn't notice anything dramatic

I wear Bolle's when I drive or go to ball games and stuff like that, but on the trail I wear Wal-Mart specials, can't take the chance of breaking or losing my good glasses.

I have a pair of Oakleys that I wear. They are excellent when I go on runs b/c they stick to my head well and aren't sliding all my face. I think they will be the last pair I buy for a long time
