I don't know if there's even a 7-11 Left in this town, <G> -- They were all bought out and turned into something else.

This is a great opportunity to work on my geezer act... like I can remember when the Very First Slurpees appeared, and we had to make a special trip to the other side of town to get some.... LOL

Oh Well. I'll make a note of it for Next year.

I never saw a 7-11 before, until I took a trip down state.

And that's all we have where I live. Of course it's also where Stewart's started. They don't sell slushies, but their ice cream is pretty good.

Drink One for Me Eartnsky
The area we were from in Virginia had the most wonderful 7-11 stores.
Staunton and Waynesboro, Harrisonburg and even Front Royal.
No 7-11 stores or slurpees in Tennessee. At least not around here. Drink a cold one for me while you can. We're making do with Slush puppies down here in TN. Had a strawberry margarita flavored one on Friday night, but Slurpees rule!

Along with 7-11s, in NJ we also have Wawa, QuickCheck, and Cumberland Farms. I believe that QuickCheck is an exclusive North Jersey store and Wawa is only South Jersey and Southeast PA...

Gotta respect the Slurpee...

There's a independent store down on the Gordon Highway called the "Park & Blo".... it's been there for years and years.

I wonder if they sell t-shirts....?

Thanks Roam for your sweet remarks. You are a doll.

Capn.... I am duly impressed. I bet you used that last line on your missus to get her to say yes to making zee marr-i-age wiz you?
I gotta admit... it works for me.

Tell you what Capty... just for that. I will give you a 10 second headstart when I meet you at TC4.
Fair enough? :-*

Your welcome dana!

And, Capt. B! I'm disappointed that you automatically assume I'm so shallow as to see dana only for her spectacular outside while completely overlooking what is an equally impressive inner dana.

Shame on you Bobo!

Sinclair?

I guess you never saw the commercials where the dinosaur was squeezed down into a barrel of oil... LOL

I think they were eventually absorbed by Exxon.

I stay clear of Exxon. Exxon's gas is always 10 cents higher than everyone else.

There is a huge discrepancy in gas prices around here, drive 5 miles and you can find a range of more than 25 cents.

But first I have to win the cookoff at Ithaca, wish me luck!!!

I forgot all about Krauzers. There seems to be less and less of them around these days, and I don't think there are any down here around Princeton...

Speaking of gas stations, I try to avoid both Exxon and Mobil as they have by far the highest prices in NJ. Gas is averaging about $1.87 a gallon here these days, and Exxon and Mobil are mostly still over $2.00 a gallon. It's kinda ironic actually because Exxon is the old NJ Standard Oil Company...
