Skinny Dipping

“we were asleep in tricorner shelter late one nite when 6-8 hikers came thru. a few thru hikers in the shelter knew them. they called themselves the "nocturnal nude hikers". they claimed they were doing the AT that way. never saw them. it was dark and after some coversation they headed off. if was clear from listening that they were neked.”

Let me tell you a story.
One day I was working with a fellow backcountry volunteer for the Smokies. We were out doing campsite maintenance. He was a fellow nearly 70 yrs old in excellent shape and still going strong on the trails. He was very involved in volunteering including helping out with a study on the trout. I had known him only a couple months. He had never met my husband or even seen him.
During the course of the day I asked him how the trout study volunteering was going? He blushed and said......"I am not sure I want to fool with that anymore." I was suprised and asked why?
He said, "Its prolly not fit to share in mixed company." I said Ok. whatever.
Few minutes down the trail he changes his mind sez.. "Well. If you promise not to get offended or upset.... I need to talk about this trout thing." Go ahead I sez.
He related to me that he was supposed to question fishermen in Little River and other streams what they were catching? He usually did this by pulling over near their vehicle and walking down to the stream to speak with them. One day as he did just that... he couldn't find any fisherman to go with this one truck. Yet he heard someone out in the water so he parted some bushes, went on around the bend to see what he could find. He said there was some guy and girl totally nude on a rock in the middle of the river. He didn't get a good look at the girl on account of the guy was blocking the view. All he could see was the rear of the guy and he was "pounding the he11 out of her. they were really gettin' it on". I got outta there fast. I was embarassed. I told my boss about it back at the office. He just laughed and said.... don't worry about it. That stuff goes on here all the time. Specially in the Summer! Don't you think thats terrible Dana? them people acting like that ? Dana? you ok?"
I just said yeah.. thats awful.
The dude would have died of a heart attack if he'd realized who it was out there on the rock in the middle of that river.”

“The weather was very hot and this man wanted desperately to take a dive in a nearby lake. He didn\'t bring his swimming outfit, but who cared? He was all alone. So he undressed and got into the water.

After some delightful minutes of cool swimming, a pair of old ladies walked onto the shore in his direction. He panicked, got out of the water and grabbed a bucket lying in the sand nearby. He held the bucket in front of his private parts and sighed with relief.

The ladies got nearby and looked at him. He felt awkward and wanted to move. Then one of the ladies said: \"You know , I have a special gift, I can read minds.\"

\"Impossible\", said the embarrassed man, \"You really know what I think?\"

\"Yes\", the lady replied, \"Right now, I bet you think that the bucket you\'re holding has a bottom.\"”

“BTW, my question wasn't IF I should go skinny dipping. The question was about what the penalty is in the Smokies.”

not funny at all
my sister and myself were car camping in NJ and went for a late night swim, grant it we were a tad drunk.
we temped fate by going two times. second time we got caught.

we ran out of the water when we saw the flashlights and hit the sand face up on our backs.

we ran to the car and as soon as we pulled out the lights of the cop car came on.
we got a warning after the cop asked if we were swimming and I said no.
at that time i turned to my sister and did not relize she did not have time to get dressed and only had a towel on.

i took a pic of her for proof. black mail

so no fun.

“Last day of a 7 day canoe trip up in Canada, ey, we were paddling up to an island to camp for the night. As we approached the back of the island, we spooked 2 older people that were buck naked sitting near the water. Man and his wife. The man got up and sprinted back up to his tent. His wife said, screw it, I am too old to be running up and jumping into a tent. These people have all seen a naked person anyway.

It was a pretty scary sight!”
