Does anyone else have it or use it? Ive had it for about a year, and it is a great service...but there is one movie that I returned about 4 or 5 days ago that they still havent recieved. Has anyone else had this problem before?

I had netflix a summer or two ago. You can log the movie as undelivered and they will turn your next movie loose. Seems like there is a warning in there that if you do that too much there could be problems.

Ok...I just wanted to make sure that this was normal and there was a way to fix it without paying for the movie. I will probably give them another day or 2 then try it.

I'd go ahead and do it now. They have a 12 month track record on you and know that this isn't typical for you. I guess they have a problem if someone routinely does this to turn the next movie loose early. I had to do this at least once and it was no big deal. I think the movie wound up showing up a few days later. When I did it, it was the same situation as yours. I'd watched the movie and it was late getting to them.

I signed up for Wal-Mart's DVD service a few months ago. No catchy name for it like Netflix, but same thing. A little cheaper, and so far it seems to be just as responsive as Netflix claims to be. Had the same problem - US Mail lost 2 of my DVDs (probably stolen), marked them as lost and bada-bing, new ones came right away.

Ok...I did the whole Problem Report thing. Hopefully it will show up. Thanks for the help. Why did you get rid of the service if I may ask?

I wondered about the Wal-mart service. For awhile their catalog just didnt seem to be as big, and beyond that I have always been happy with the netflix service.

I enjoyed Netflix, I just don't watch enough movies to justify it. I might watch 6 in a month and then won't rent any for 3 months. With netflix I felt like I had to move them through as quickly as possible to justify it. The thing I did really enjoy is getting movies you can't find in the store, or stuff you wouldn't otherwise rent. I got documentaries on Lewis and Clark and stuff like that.

It must be great to me able to rent Girls Gone Wild: Cancun without getting disgusted looks from the checkout girl.

We don't ever watch tv anymore. We've started getting lots of documentaries and full seasons of our favorite TV shows....There is nothing in Atlanta except Blockbuster, and with their rental price at almost 5 bucks, if you watch more than a movie a week Netflix pays for itself. This is the only problem We've had so far.

My roommate at Auburn bought the girls gone wild tapes when they first came out...Then they proceeded to send him a new tape every few weeks and charge his credit card. He never seemed to complain though

Yah I heard about that...you don't realize you're buying into a monthly delivery until the new tape arrives in the mail.

Something similar happened to my wife, only with some cosmetic she bought over the Internet. Took a couple of times calling them and complaining before it stopped.

Well, War Eagle Dayhiker! Now that Im in Atlanta, its just nice to talk to someone else from Bama. Atlanta folk tend to look at you funny when you tell them you are from the Heart of Dixie, plus they are all UGA grads...

yeah, I just don't see the lite one being worth it when you can pay aliitle more for the all you can watch stuff.

We'll have to meet up for a hike on the Pinhoti sometime. There's another guy in Atlanta that I hike with. We keep trying to meet up at Cheaha and our calendars keep getting in the way.

No, you won't be hiking anytime soon. In early Nov there is a trip to Sipsey. That'll be about 4 hrs from you. In early Dec I'm either doing a trip to Pinhoti or Savage Gulf, haven't decided yet.

You remember my brother Tommy, right fonsie? He's married and has a baby since that trip.

I'll be nosy. When and what did you finish in at Auburn? The reason I ask is that I have a co-worker that's 25 and finished in CE at Auburn. It can be a small world, so I had to ask.

I love the SCRA. I grew up in Chattanooga, so thats always been a favorite playground of mine. Early december, around the 10th would be great, as my semester and work schedule would be winding down.

Actually DH, I didnt finish. I spent 4 years there working in the Library fulltime and going to school partime. I got a job offr at the Georgia Tech Library, so now I'm doing the same thing, just with a change of scenery. I had an Ex-girlfriend that graduated in CE around that time.

By far....They are much higher per capita, so dont even feel the need to blend in here. Plus, the ranks are full of foreign GT eggheads, which bring loads of other problems such as language barriers and egos. Its tough to dispute library fines hen you can't communicate.

a coworker gave me a good idea...the same thing happened to him...he emailed them and they basically told him he was SOL, there was no way to track it down

so what he did was put the movie that he accidentally sent back in his queue and when he got it he kept it and sent netflix their original movie back...brilliant, now that's what i call karma
