“Ruby - It's the quarterly matg that is put out by the North Country Trail Assoc. Being a member (well, I've been called worse!), I get this mag and it talks about some of the things the org is up to, such as trail maintaniece, bills in congress, etc. For the most part, I like it, but I can't help but fall asleep whiel reading it. Maybe it's the fumes from the ink?

I'm kidding. If your not a member and would like to help support thge trail system, there is a sponsered membership that will allow you to join at a discounted rate of 18 bucks. It's well worth it. One of the bennies I get is a discount on a rate to stay at the NCT School House in White Cloud. Plus, you can give your tme for trail maint, by joining one of the many chapters. Tarabull, LeSubtil and myself are part of the Titawasse Chapter, which trail responibilies include the Jordan River Pathway. They're a great group of people.

So let me understand this. You think this thread is irrelevent and a waste? How is this thread any less enlightening than "Ewker: Sleepiest person on TT?"

I'm not making a negative judgment on the releveance of either thread. I kind of like the mindless chatter on a backpacking board actually. But come on, all are free to post just about whatever they want. If it doesn't interest you, Ewker, I don't understand why a dig to prosecutor or lizs was necessary. Unless there's something more going on between the two of you of which I am not aware.
